From the streets of Providence, Rhode Island, I've survived abuse that sent me spiraling into homelessness, hopping from tent to tent for three years. But amidst it all, I discovered a newfound sense of stability, channeling my inner demons into the creation of an epic fantasy tale which has grown into a beautiful world.
I began writing when I was very young, but much of it would be destroyed by my step-father or I'd be bullied in school or at church. Eventually I gave up and retreated into online roleplay forums, engaging with that side of writing. It was only the support of my partners, friends, and those who've stood by me that I regained the confidence to begin writing publicly again.
Throughout the story I've tried to explore what it means to find that bit of light when darkness surrounds you. It could be in the arms of a trusted friend, a floofy fox, or in the scenery around you. Living in a tent by the river I was surrounded by chirping birds, peeping frogs, and at night howling coyotes reminded me I wasn't alone.
Three years of homelessness pulled my head out of my ass and I can honestly say I've been made better for it. There are a lot of things I wish I could change, but overall I'm happy to be where I am now.

INSPIRATIONS
I've been writing the character of Inias in many forms over the years. I'm not sure what made me settle on the fae, it was different and new. Many forms of art have inspired this story from Black Veil Brides Wretched and Divine album, to the tales of the Three Kingdoms period of China, and video games like Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy. Much of the story is written from the heart, personal experiences channeled through my keyboard.
FAVORITES
I loved playing video games, Kingdom Hearts continues to be my favorite series. Really enjoyed Final Fantasy X, Tales of Xillia, El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron, and Dynasty Warriors.
Grew up listening mostly to Christian Rock, not much else was allowed. Early bands I loved were Skillet, Disciple, and Pillar. Over time I grew to discover others like BVB or HIM. Lately I've been listening to Dark Divine. Best concert still is and will always be Alice Cooper.
The first book series I became obsessed with was the Shadow Child series by Margaret Peterson Haddix. Chronicles of Narnia was the next series I dove into. Some favorites overall include Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Dracula, and The Picture of Dorian Gray.
